<p>Respected dignitaries, ladies and gentlemen!</p>
|
||
<p>As we draw this important meeting to a close, I cannot help but feel sad. Nonetheless, we have no time to waste. We all must go to the front line with a God-given mandate inscribed in our hearts. The more we hesitate, the more serious and difficult will become the problems faced by humankind. Let us look around the world. Who besides you truly worries about the crisis we are facing? Who can solve today’s problems?</p>
|
||
<p>Knowing that you will depart tomorrow, I would like to take a moment this evening to share a part of the Truth that God has asked me to convey to all of you. I believe that as brothers and sisters under God we can share our hearts with one another. The topic of my message is <i>“Let us Discover the True Meaning of “I”.”</i></p>
|
||
<p>Ladies and gentlemen, what do you think is God’s ideal of creation? It begins with our becoming a true seed by connecting to God in true love, true life and true lineage. The true seed then grows into a true family, the true family becomes the seed of a true tribe, the true tribe becomes the seed of a true people, a true people becomes the seed of a true nation, and a true nation becomes the seed of a true world. Because of the fall of our ancestors, humankind became Satan’s seeds through inheriting Satan’s false love, false life and false lineage, which have nothing to do with God’s true love, true life and true lineage. This is a tragedy for humankind and is the biggest problem for us to resolve.</p>
|
||
<p>Throughout history, God has been leading the providence of salvation for humankind by accepting sacrifices on different levels. In the Old Testament Era, the sacrifices were on the level of all things. In the New Testament Era, the sacrifices were His children who became martyrs. And finally, in this Completed Testament Era, the necessary sacrifice was the True Parents’ life-long suffering and countless conditions.</p>
|
||
<p>To what does God want us to be awakened? On what foundation might one be qualified to speak about one’s true self? You may not like to hear this, but as the descendents of fallen parents, humankind has not realized the value of the true self nor do we know the position we would occupy upon realization of the true self. At the time of creation, God wanted to be able to say “we” with reference to a true family and Himself, and to multiply this family to create a world of peace, His ideal of creation. Due to the fall, however, human beings could not find their true self, nor God could use the word “we.”</p>
|
||
<p>If this is so, then upon what foundation do human beings say, “I”? We all live in the fallen world, so if you are an American, you receive education based on American history and tradition, and that is the ground for your concept of “I.” No one could establish a relationship with God such that God would call us “mine” or consider us His children who dwell consciously in the realm of His ideal of creation. Therefore, the concept of self we possess has no connection with the original ideal of God’s creation. To reach that ideal, we absolutely must negate ourselves.</p>
|
||
<p>As an individual, we each have to achieve the position of a perfected “I.” We can never attain that status unless we place ourselves at the “zero point” and negate ourselves absolutely. We can achieve absolute unity of mind and body only on that basis. Please think about it. Unless we establish an absolute “I” that heaven and earth can recognize, and establish a perfect family, perfect nation and perfect world, we are defective. How can God embrace defective humankind in the realm of true love, true life and true lineage? How can He enunciate “we” in league with imperfect people?</p>
|
||
<p>God has led the providence of restoration with the expectation that He could one day cry out “we” inclusive of a true man and true woman as His children.</p>
|
||
<p>Reflecting this, we should question whether we are qualified to cry out “I” in front of God. Even before asking that question, we must examine whether our mind and body are united absolutely. A person without a clear answer to that question has a long way to go.</p>
|
||
<p>Since God is the subject of true love, the owner of true life and the origin of true lineage, He has been seeking true children who are inseparably one with Him. In other words, God has been waiting for the children who are connected to His life and lineage centering on true love. We become such children through absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience. One cannot find true love by looking within. We find true love only with a partner. Even the almighty God cannot attain true love by Himself. That is the reason He created His children as His love partners.</p>
|
||
<p>First, we must achieve individual perfection through the unity of mind and body. On that foundation, we should establish a vertical, father-son relationship with God. The vertical relationship alone, however, does not justify use of the word, “we.” By all means, the word “we” necessitates the harmony of vertical and horizontal relationships. For this purpose, a man and a woman must receive the Blessing of marriage from God to become a true husband and wife. They must produce true children and form a true family. They are to build a three generational family based on the “Four-Position Foundation.” Only then will God cry out “we” inclusive of that family.</p>
|
||
<p>How can we reach such a position? We have to return to the situation of God at the time of the original creation. In what position do you think God first started creating? God started creating from a position of absolute unity between mind and body. He invested Himself absolutely, centered on absolute love and absolute life. There was no room for self-interest or self-concern in that process. The teaching of “life for the sake of others” originated there. It is to give 100% of oneself, over and over.</p>
|
||
<p>Our family life follows the same principle. Parents, who are in the position of God in the family setting, must give themselves absolutely for the sake of the family, centering on true love. From the perspective of the Origin-Division-Union principle, parents occupy the position of Origin.</p>
|
||
<p>Therefore, they procreate children and must properly rear them so that they can establish the vertical axis of “we” together with their children. Furthermore, the husband and wife, taking the position of Division from the Origin, must establish the horizontal axis by uniting with each other absolutely, centering on true love. On this foundation, the children in the position of Union naturally will unite with one another following the pattern of the vertical and horizontal axes. As they do so, the children establish another axis, that of front and rear. On that foundation, the concept of “we” is substantiated in every direction: vertical, horizontal, front and rear. This is the perfection of the Four-Position Foundation and of the “Three Subject Purposes” in a family setting.</p>
|
||
<p>A family cannot completely manifest Origin-Division-Union action unless the lineage is connected through three generations. That is why family is important. Family is the most precious gift from God. Without a proper family environment, how can one even think about discovering one’s true self? How can we dream of seeking the perfect “we” that is absolute in every direction? Family truly is the cradle of love, peace and happiness!</p>
|
||
<p>Ladies and gentlemen, we must not make the mistake of falling prey to worldly fame, knowledge, power or wealth. No matter how famous one may be, if one cannot discover his or her own true self, centering on absolute unity between mind and body, and connect to God vertically, there is no meaning to life. A person has nothing to do with God’s providence unless God embraces him and proclaims “we” together with him.</p>
|
||
<p>Where can you find your own true self? You will discover it only by living for the sake of others. You absolutely have to put yourself at the zero point, to negate yourself and live for your family, your nation, the world and God. There you will find your true self automatically. This is the inescapable course for human restoration and salvation. It is our destiny.</p>
|
||
<p>We must not puff ourselves up by trying to show our true self to others. If we understood even a bit of God’s heart, a heart that has been filled with agony and lamentation from waiting for His true children throughout restoration history, we would not talk about our true self easily. We would live to build our ideal family day and night. If we can build world peace, which is the original world for which God has been waiting for tens of thousands of years, this will become the Kingdom of God on Earth. In that world, the sorrowful heart of God will be liberated.</p>
|
||
<p>Ladies and gentlemen, let us discover our proud true self that is free of shame under the sun, that has honor before the ocean and that has nothing to conceal facing all things. Let us build our true family so that God will cry out “we” together with us.</p>
|
||
<p>Again I extend to all of you world leaders my sincere thanks for attending this conference in spite of your busy schedules. Upon your return, please share the truth you have learned through this conference with others. I am sending you out to the world as the God-appointed ambassadors to realize world peace. Please go to the front line with heavenly pride.</p>

<p>Honorable Chairman, world leaders representing various fields, Ambassadors for Peace, leaders from the Interreligious and International Federation for World Peace, leaders of Non-Governmental Organizations, ladies and gentlemen.</p>
|
||
<p>Today, at this transitional point in human history, leaders from the world over who are concerned about the future of humanity have gathered here in mutual consideration of how to resolve the crisis facing the Earth. The tragedies that took place in New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania on September 11 truly shocked the entire world. Along with the concern over peace and safety, we came to reflect upon fundamental and serious questions of modern civilization and future of humankind.</p>
|
||
<h3>Resolving the Root of Conflict</h3>
|
||
<p>Throughout history, human beings have continuously aspired for world peace. However, that dream has never been realized. We can look back at the end of the Cold War, at which time fierce political and military conflicts and struggles concluded. Many people expected that the long-awaited era of peace and stability would arrive based on the foundation of highly developed science.</p>
|
||
<p>Nonetheless, we came to realize that conflict, hatred and selfish desire are imbedded deeply within each of us and are still active. These are creating ever more serious disasters in new shapes and forms. Violence wreaked upon innocents is certainly an inhumane criminal act, and it must be stopped. However, what can eradicate those inner conflicts and struggles, and resolve the fundamental human problems at their root? Where was the seed of hatred, conflict, and struggle sown, and how did it come to be rooted deeply within us?</p>
|
||
<p>The seed was planted in the family of the first human ancestors, Adam and Eve. The conflicts and struggles that resulted have continued from generation to generation until the present time. Then, where is the path to resolve those conflicts and realize peace on Earth? Historically, human beings have been attempting to overcome conflict and pursue peace through economic, political, diplomatic and military means. However, such methods obviously do not provide fundamental solutions, as we are still struggling with many unresolved problems.</p>
|
||
<p>There is but one fundamental way and it is simple. It is to restore the family that the first human ancestors lost; that is, the ideal family of God. That is the family with God at its center, the family that has achieved perfection in true love both vertically and horizontally. God exists as the Original Being of true love and the invisible True Parent of humankind.</p>
|
||
<p>However, love cannot exist alone. It exists in relationships and it can bear fruit only through relationships. That is why we were created as God’s children, through whom He sought to realize His true love.</p>
|
||
<h3>The Three Blessings of God</h3>
|
||
<p>The First Blessing of God to human beings, “be fruitful” (Genesis 1:28), called God’s children to become the object partners of His true love by becoming true persons. When we love someone, we want our object partner to be better than ourselves. Thus, in love, God, as the Father, wants His children to be better than Him. That is why God repeatedly invests Himself in human beings, the object partners of His love, and nevertheless constantly forgets about what He has already given and desires infinitely to give love more and more. This is so because love has its origin in the desire to live for the sake of others for eternity.</p>
|
||
<p>God then bestowed the Second Blessing, “multiply,” (Genesis 1:28). The first human ancestors were to have grown to maturity as the children of God. After having reached perfection, as one with God in heart, they were to have become True Husband and Wife. Then, they were to have become substantial True Parents to their children, inheriting and passing on true love, true life and true lineage from God.</p>
|
||
<p>As such, God’s ideal of creation was to perfect true love both vertically and horizontally, beginning in the first family of our common ancestors. Since God’s love is absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal, that family also was to have become the absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal family, centered on true love. Human beings would have become substantial embodiments of love, totally united with God in heart. They would have enjoyed perfect freedom, happiness and the realization of all ideals.</p>
|
||
<p>Then they would have become the Lords of true love whom all beings in the universe would have loved and welcomed. This was God’s Third Blessing (Genesis 1:28). This is the Blessing to create a living environment in which we can experience joy and happiness, having dominion over the creation. This includes the care for and preservation of the world’s ecological balance as true masters of the creation.</p>
|
||
<h3>Not Power or Knowledge, but True Love</h3>
|
||
<p>Tragically, our human ancestors could not inherit the Three Blessings of God and establish the family of true love. That means they failed to become true persons, true spouses, true parents, and true Lords centered on true love. Instead, they disobeyed God, and He expelled them from the Garden of Eden. As the fallen human ancestors, they became false spouses to each other, with false love that has nothing to do with God’s Blessings. They gave birth to children and those children multiplied to populate the world of today.</p>
|
||
<p>Since the fall at the beginning of human history, human beings have not been born on the foundation of true love, in the attendance of God. Instead, we have lived in conflict and struggle between our own mind and body. This conflict manifested as a tragedy of hatred and murder between two brothers, Cain and Abel, in the first family. That was the miserable reality of a family that left God.</p>
|
||
<p>A family built upon the basis of human relationships alone cannot become a family of the original ideal of creation. An ideal family must connect to God vertically and have a true person as its pivot. Under the true love of true parents, among siblings who own and share a common vertical pivot, the family finally can establish the relationships of ultimate harmony and peace. We can experience true love within an ideal family that bears good fruit. The family is the original and best school of love. Power or knowledge can never create true love.</p>
|
||
<h3>The Loss of God’s Blessings</h3>
|
||
<p>Honorable world leaders! What do you feel when you look at the reality of human society and at the youth of the contemporary world? Do you feel hope for a bright future? I believe that you experience agony over the increasing rates of crime, violence, drug abuse, immorality, corruption, teen pregnancy and so forth. These arise out of a confusion of values and foretell darkness enveloping our youth.</p>
|
||
<p>How did we arrive at this point? Better school systems and social improvements would have delayed the onset of these problems, but these endeavors do not address the fundamental cause of these problems, which is the breakdown and loss of families. This breakdown is a product of the time we are in, a time when humankind is harvesting the fruit sown by the loss of the first family of true love.</p>
|
||
<p>The destruction of the foremost school of true love leads to the phenomena of family breakdown, with enormously destructive side effects. This breakdown not only causes personal anxiety but also leads to manifold problems on the national and worldwide levels. Of particular concern is the emotional instability of youth, which leads to changing life goals, spiritual wandering, and even deviation from healthy lifestyles.</p>
|
||
<p>World leaders who are concerned over the future must take very seriously the real problems of youth avoiding marriage, rampant divorce, and so forth, which destroy the fundamental foundation for families.</p>
|
||
<p>Having lost the First and Second Blessings, humankind does not understand how important it is to perfect one’s individuality. As a true individual we can experience sacred and eternal conjugal love. Most of today’s youth are not educated in a thoroughgoing way about the importance of keeping purity before marriage and reaching individual maturity through true love. Thus they do not understand the value of true love, which is the fundamental root of joy, happiness and all ideals.</p>
|
||
<p>The tendency to make light of trust and fidelity between husband and wife, and to ignore the sacredness of marriage, is an internal cause of indescribable disasters and tragedies for humankind.</p>
|
||
<p>True love has no place in the so-called free sex culture, in which people seek only the physical love between a man and a woman as the cardinal but momentary pleasure. The rapid spread of HIV-AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) threatens the very existence of the human race. It is said that there is no safety zone against the AIDS virus.</p>
|
||
<p>A greater terrorism than that over which the entire world is now trembling is before our eyes, allowing us no safety zone. Once contracted, its victims must give up their dreams for happiness, ideals, and life itself. Unless we resolve this catastrophe plaguing our planet, how can we claim that we are world leaders?</p>
|
||
<p>Nor have we taken responsibility for the Third Blessing endowed by God, to “have dominion over the creation.” This requires that we take care of all creatures with true love. What would happen if the natural world were to rebel against the abuse and misuse it suffers at the hands of human beings who lord over it? Are not those symptoms beginning to appear? Before the natural world punishes our intolerable arrogance, we should stand before nature in true love as people of restored integrity.</p>
|
||
<h3>Steps to World Peace</h3>
|
||
<p>Respected world leaders! Now is the time for humanity to voluntarily repudiate pride, ignorance, selfishness and hatred. Let us follow the laws of Heaven and humble ourselves before God.</p>
|
||
<p>Ever since God called me at the tender age of 16, I have committed myself totally to the realization of world peace, which has been God’s deepest wish. And at this time, I would like to set forth several crucial steps that are necessary for us to take in order to bring peace to the world.</p>
|
||
<p>First, we must live for the sake of others. A self-centered life not only causes discomfort to others, but also violates the laws of Heaven. Living for the sake of others, on the other hand, is the way we can resemble God. Loving our family, our community, our nation and the world is the way to inherit God’s true love. It is the way to live in accord with the fundamental order of the universe.</p>
|
||
<p>Only through practicing true love can we become true individuals, true parents, true teachers and true Lords. Only then can we finally become the leaders who can bring about peace on Earth. A life of living for the sake of others is the first gate to peace.</p>
|
||
<p>The path to peace ultimately must be based on “Godism” or “Head-Wing Ideology,” the teaching that can reconcile and embrace all sides in a conflict, from the thought to the fruit, by dealing with the starting-point of conflict in the relationship between Cain and Abel.</p>
|
||
<p>How can we break the chain of hatred and violence we perpetrate against one another? Returning hatred in response to hatred only leads to more hatred, terror and destruction. This is certainly not the path to peace. We can touch, embrace and educate conflicting parties only by true love. True love that places God in the center disregards national boundaries; therefore it is international.</p>
|
||
<p>True love transcends the high walls dividing religions and races; therefore it is interreligious and inter-racial. True love centered on God’s ideal of living for the sake of others can generate the power to touch a person’s heart and spirit. By true love alone can the various reasons and causes of conflicts on Earth be overcome, whether the confrontation is between right and left, front and rear, above and below, or inner and outer. By true love alone can we establish a world of eternal peace.</p>
|
||
<h3>Marriage as an Instrument of Peace</h3>
|
||
<p>Second, the family is the fundamental unit for building peaceful nations and ultimately a peaceful world. As I already mentioned, the root of conflict originated in the first family. Therefore, until the family of the True Parents appears, it is impossible for us to enter the era of world peace. The international Blessings that I promote worldwide are not the wedding ceremony of a particular religion. They are a movement to save all nations and the world.</p>
|
||
<p>We teach youth to keep their purity before marriage and, when they reach adulthood, to marry under the Blessing of God. However, as a condition to receive the marriage Blessing, they first must pledge to their spouse that they will maintain absolute trust and fidelity as husband and wife. Thus, the Blessing is a holy movement to build true families and lift up true parents who live centered on true love.</p>
|
||
<p>Families built upon such an ideal and such an education have no need to feel threatened by the AIDS virus. For them, preventing AIDS is easier than preventing a cold or flu. If we educate the youth of the world in this vision and practice it, we will completely eliminate the AIDS epidemic. We will eliminate the scourge of family breakdown as well.</p>
|
||
<p>Further, these families of true love will serve as the cornerstone for peaceful nations and a peaceful world. In particular, if individuals of enemy nations, who have lived in discord throughout history, come together in true love as in-laws, their reconciliation will bring nations and races together. It is a high wall to overcome.</p>
|
||
<p>Nevertheless, here is the supreme formula for bringing true peace to the world: bring together children from enemy families and nations for the “Exchange Marriage Blessing.” These interreligious and international families can build a realm of Blessing, perfecting true families of true love that both Heaven and Earth desire. From that point will begin the world of eternal peace that God and all humankind have desired.</p>
|
||
<h3>A Challenge to Religious Leaders</h3>
|
||
<p>Third, inter-religious reconciliation and cooperation is an essential condition for world peace. I have campaigned tirelessly for interreligious harmony and dialogue. I always have devoted a far greater proportion of my funds for that purpose than for the growth and development of the Unification Church.</p>
|
||
<p>Do you think that practicing such sacrificial love with an unchanging heart is easy? By no means! But we cannot expect world peace unless religious people reconcile and cooperate. World peace is the original ideal of God.</p>
|
||
<p>Therefore, religious leaders and believers should be the guides who lead people to peace. If religions only emphasize narrow-minded denominationalism and fail to teach true love for God and the universe, we will never free humankind from the horrors of war. In the face of this global crisis, religious leaders have to practice true love, humbly following God’s Will, walking hand in hand beyond the boundaries of their own religion.</p>
|
||
<p>The inner power of religion touches our hearts and can recreate us as people of peace. It can cultivate our ability to practice self-control from within. It can overcome historical hatreds and resentments among us. This is the root from which arises true peace and stability.</p>
|
||
<p>If religions demonstrate love for each other, cooperate with each other, and serve each other, putting the higher ideal of peace ahead of particular doctrines, rituals and cultural backgrounds, the world will change dramatically.</p>
|
||
<h3>Beyond National Self-Interest</h3>
|
||
<p>Fourth, I once again emphasize the proper role of the United Nations in realizing world peace. As a representative organization for world peace, the United Nations has made many contributions.</p>
|
||
<p>Last year, I presented my proposals to solve the fundamental problems plaguing the planet Earth, given that the world’s circumstances have changed and the complex situations in which nations find themselves today are unlike those at the time of the United Nations’ founding.</p>
|
||
<p>One of these proposals was to establish a special body that would discuss and evaluate the religious, spiritual and moral dimensions of world problems. The United Nations must serve the world and God’s ideal of creation effectively. To do so, it must transcend the power of politics and national diplomacy, which reflect the motives of nations seeking their own self-interest. Only then can it truly protect the human rights of all peoples and nations and build world peace.</p>
|
||
<p>This is not limited to the United Nations. Maintaining order in the world and protecting public prosperity and peace will be difficult as long as political sovereignty operates on the principle of national self-interest and ignores or undermines moral and spiritual values.</p>
|
||
<p>What is required is that high-level leaders ground themselves spiritually and morally upon God’s ideal and govern according to universal principles. No political power or earthly authority should stand above God and the laws of Heaven.</p>
|
||
<p>Moreover, the United Nations should to listen to and embrace many of the views of the Non-Governmental Organizations. This is the reason we established WANGO. I encourage all NGOs, while not losing your original founding spirit, to dialogue and cooperate with one another. I request that you continue serving the world, be unselfish and stay free of corruption.</p>
|
||
<h3>Our Historical Quest</h3>
|
||
<p>Respected world leaders! A person who only talks about world peace without practicing it is not a true leader. Given the current world situation, we cannot leisurely wait for the arrival of world peace while sitting down. Each of us, the Ambassadors for Peace and everyone else, must create world peace by all means. Let us all take active roles as leaders in the movement for peace.</p>
|
||
<p>I wish and hope that, centered on the Peace Embassies, all international organizations including the United Nations will participate actively in the movement for world peace and ideal nation. It is our historical quest.</p>
|
||
<p>International organizations: let us be united as one in mind and heart. Let us become pioneers for world peace, by first building ideal families of true love and living for the sake of others.</p>
|
||

<p>Respected ladies and gentlemen: I would like to express my sincerest gratitude for your participation in this rally despite your busy public and private schedules. I particularly would like to thank Rev. Dr. Wyatt T. Walker and the other distinguished New York area clergy who invited me here today. Harlem is the heart of New York City, a city that is a capital of culture, of finance, and of diplomacy centered on the United Nations. It is also a multinational city, where immigrants from around the world have come and live together.</p>
|
||
<p>Between February 25 and April 17 of this first year of the new millennium, I successfully conducted a speaking tour covering all 50 states in the United States, speaking in 52 cities in 52 days, Today, I am able to meet you again, thanks to the invitation from the many ministers of the New York area. During my tour, I spoke to audiences comprised primarily of clergy about the path humankind and America, and even the heavenly world and earthly world, must take.</p>
|
||
<p>When I was sixteen years old I met Jesus early Easter morning, and set out on the path of Heaven’s Will to accomplish the Will of God. I suffered all manner of misunderstanding and persecution, but I never gave up. So I have devoted my life of more than eighty years to the effort of bringing about a world of peace based on the ideal of true families. In 1971, I came to America in obedience to God’s command, and for the past thirty years have invested my full spirit and energy to guide America so that it can fulfill the mission for which it was chosen, that is, the mission of the second Israel. Today, I would like to share with you some of my content from the recent speaking tour, as well as content regarding the Coronation Ceremony of God’s Kingship that was held on January 13 of this year.</p>
|
||
<h3 align="center">God’s Image Passed through Lineage</h3>
|
||
<p>Ladies and Gentlemen, more than six billion people are now living in the world. Without exception they fall into one of two categories: man or woman. In fact, God created all beings, including those of the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms, with yang nature and yin nature. In other words, He created a pair system. That is because He created the universe to resemble Himself.</p>
|
||
<p>Let us ask, then, who is God to us? What is His relationship with humankind? We refer to Him as “Father,” because He is our source of true love, true life and true lineage. Thus, the original relationship between God and humanity is that of parent and child.</p>
|
||
<p>There is nothing more important to us than love, life and lineage. Among these, which do you think has most value? Many people think that it is love. However, no matter how valuable love and life are, they are horizontal in nature. They appear and conclude within one generation. On the other hand, lineage is vertical in nature and continues forever, generation after generation.</p>
|
||
<p>This generation has inherited the lineage passed down through our ancestors. We are like a corporation composed of cells inherited from all of our ancestors going back to Adam.</p>
|
||
<h3 align="center">Adam and Eve Lost God’s Blessing</h3>
|
||
<p>What is the reality of the environment in which we live? Our mind and body have been fighting against each other since the beginning of history. World wars eventually conclude with a truce, or the defeat of one side, but the struggle between the human mind and body cannot be stopped; it continues without end. The mind and body failed to form a ninety-degree angle in resemblance to God, within whom the mind completely controls the body. The fall of the human ancestors brought on this state of mutual conflict. Even non-religious people have to acknowledge that human beings descended from fallen ancestors.</p>
|
||
<p>Did God expel Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden before or after they committed the fall? He expelled them from the Garden because of the fall, so it must have taken place after the fall, and before they could form a relationship of love, life and lineage with God.</p>
|
||
<p>Thus, Adam and Eve could not have a marriage ceremony blessed by God. Instead, they married under Satan’s dominion. Doing so, they inherited Satan’s lineage and multiplied descendants. For this reason, Jesus spoke so sharply when he pointed out that the devil Satan is the father of fallen humankind, “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire.” (<a href="http://bible.gospelcom.net/cgi-bin/bible?passage=John+8:44">John 8:44</a>) The fall destroyed the eternal relationship of parent and child between God, on the one hand, and Adam and Eve, on the other. Therefore, Adam and Eve were unable to generate the love of true parents, true husband and wife, and true children. Because of this, God never had grandchildren of direct descent.</p>

||
<p>Adam and Eve should have avoided the fall and reached completion, forming one mind and one body as true parents centering on God, their True Parent. Instead, they entered into a relationship with the enemy and found themselves in a position with their body in total control of their mind.</p>
|
||
<h3 align="center">The Root of Human Sin</h3>
|
||
<p>What then is the truth behind the fall story? The Bible states that the fall originated when the first human ancestors in the Garden of Eden ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This is one of many important passages that the Bible expresses in parables and symbols. It does not refer to a literal fruit. As Jesus says in <a href="http://bible.gospelcom.net/cgi-bin/bible?passage=Matthew+15:11">Matthew 15:11</a>, “What goes into a man’s mouth does not make him unclean, but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him ‘unclean.'”</p>

||
<p>It is human nature to try to hide our defects. A child caught stealing a cookie by his mother will instinctively hide his hands or cover his mouth. In the same way, if Adam and Eve had taken a piece of fruit and put it into their mouth, then they would have hidden their hands or covered their mouth when God called them. The fact that they hid their lower parts instead demonstrates that their crime was committed through the lower parts of their body.</p>
|
||
<p>There were five masculine figures in the Garden of Eden. First, there was God, who is the subject partner of the entire created world. Then there was Adam and the three angels, Lucifer, Gabriel and Michael. Eve was the only feminine figure. What do you think they felt, standing naked and without shame in the Garden of Eden, observing the insects and animals coming together in pairs?</p>

||
<p>The commandment given in <a href="http://bible.gospelcom.net/cgi-bin/bible?passage=Genesis+2:17">Genesis 2:17</a>, “You must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die,” was a strong warning about Eve’s love. Eve had to protect her sexual purity until she achieved maturity with a God-centered character and entered into a blessed marriage with God’s permission. Had she succeeded, she would have multiplied God’s eternal love, life and lineage.</p>

||
<p>Eve fell, however, because Lucifer disregarded his servant’s position and drew her into an immoral relationship based on his excessive desire. Thus, in <a href="http://bible.gospelcom.net/cgi-bin/bible?passage=2+Peter+2:4">2 Peter 2:4</a> the Bible says, “…God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment;” and <a href="http://bible.gospelcom.net/cgi-bin/bible?passage=Jude+6-7">Jude 6-7</a> states, “And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home — these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.” Clearly, the angels committed the sin of adultery.</p>

<p>I repeat: the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil represents Eve’s reproductive organ, and God gave the commandment to protect her chastity. When He created us, God invested His entire heart and soul in our reproductive organs. He created them as the palace of true love, the palace of true life, and the palace of true lineage. The story places the fruit in the context of good and evil in order to tell us that if Eve were to have a relationship with a king, she would give birth to a prince, and if she were to have a relationship with a mafioso, she would give birth to a villain. The quality of the harvest depends upon the seed that is planted. It was called the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because it could manifest good or evil.</p>

<h3 align="center">The Fruit of Sexual Immorality</h3>
|
||
<p>This is how the original sin, the root of all sin, came into existence. This is why it became necessary for human beings to find rebirth. Rebirth is necessary because the problem relates to lineage.</p>
|
||
<p>The Bible also depicts the archangel symbolically, as a serpent. Why is that? The serpent’s tongue splits into two at the end, and so the serpent came to symbolize a person who uses his one mouth to say two completely different things, or a person who will use any means to accomplish his selfish purposes.</p>
|
||
<p>A man’s reproductive organ is shaped like the head of a poisonous snake. It is always looking for a hole to slither into. A woman’s reproductive organ is concave, like the wide-open mouth of a poisonous snake with fangs. Once this snake bites, poison quickly spreads through the body, bringing eternal death. Adultery does not just destroy the individual, but also the family, clan and nation. In the Garden of Eden, Satan defiled the chastity of youth. He is harvesting the fruit of that crime in the wave of immorality that is engulfing the world’s youth in this time of the last days, when history reaches its conclusion.</p>

||
<p>If the reproductive organs are this important, to whom do they belong? A wife’s reproductive organ belongs to her husband, and a husband’s belongs to his wife. In this circumstance, a person’s reproductive organ can be unlocked by one key and one key only. Under no circumstances should you make a spare key. This absolutely cannot be permitted. The wrongful use of this key leads to the destruction of the family and the nation.</p>

||
<h3 align="center">Restoration Through the Marriage Blessing</h3>
|
||
<p>The fall of the first human ancestors allowed Satan to have grandchildren and prevented God from having this experience. Because the false parent influenced the act of adultery, there arose the need for a Savior, or Messiah, and for True Parents. Since Adam and Eve’s marriage was wrongful in God’s eyes, the Messiah was destined to come as the True Parents in order to restore humankind through marriage rightful in God’s eyes. The branches of the false olive tree must be cut off and engrafted onto the true olive tree.</p>
|
||
<p>This is why Jesus said to Nicodemus that one cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven without first being reborn. Everyone must separate from false love, false life and the false lineage and engraft onto true love, true life and the true lineage in order to be reborn as citizens of the kingdom of Heaven.</p>
|
||
<p>It is possible to engraft families and even entire nations all at once. For this cause, the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, centering on my teaching, has been working to bring the kingdom of Heaven on earth and in Heaven through the ideal of true families. If you doubt this, please pray about it. I discovered this truth through prayer so intense that my very life was at risk. I do not think there is anyone who knows more about the spirit world and God than I do.</p>

<p>Heaven’s strategy is to allow itself to be struck first, and then to use this as a condition to take something from the other side. Satan strikes first, but in the end he has to pay reparations. Heaven teaches us to love even our enemies. In fact, Heaven ultimately requires us to love even Satan. Such love is proof that one is spiritually alive. I visited Mikhail Gorbachev and Kim Il Sung in order to practice God’s true love by loving my enemies.</p>

<p>Persecution plays into God’s strategy for us to inherit all of Satan’s rights to ownership. Individuals and even the entire cosmos opposed me, but this opposition only served as my opportunity to develop further. You must come to know God with certainty. This is why the international holy blessing ceremonies I have officiated in the name of the True Parents, in the face of opposition, have liberated the God who has lived in sorrow and grief due to the fall of the first human ancestors. These ceremonies transcend racial and national differences and break down the barriers between enemies.</p>

<p>I have always taught that we must maintain absolute purity before marriage and absolute fidelity after the holy blessing of marriage. By doing so, we can build a family that incarnates God’s four attributes of absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal love. A man who is created in this way, as the reciprocal partner of true love, represents Heaven, or half the universe, and a woman who is created in the same way represents the earth, the other half. Thus, once a couple is married in the holy blessing, they are never to divorce. Divorce divides parents and children. The tide of divorce, now exceeding fifty percent of marriages, utterly destroys the underlying social discipline of moral law and human ethics.</p>

<h3 align="center">The Relationship of Man and Woman</h3>
|
||
<p>Ladies and gentlemen, whom do you think God loves more, men or women? The later the creation the more valuable it is, because the Creator invests more of His dedication. Woman was the later creation into which God poured His entire heart and being. If you notice, women more than men are born for the sake of others and live for the sake of others. So God’s interest and love tend to go more to women. Where does God want to reside? If Adam and Eve had not fallen but had reached completion and become one with each other centering on true love, then God would have dwelled with them. God is the owner of vertical and eternal love and the husband is the owner of horizontal love.</p>

<p>So the seed of life comes from God and is inside the husband. Women are like a garden. They receive the seed and sacrifice their body to provide it nourishment, nurture the fetus with love, and then give birth. The baby receives 99 percent of its bones and flesh from its mother. If you look at how a woman is shaped, you will notice that there is no part of her body that exists for her own sake. Do her well-developed breasts and hips belong to her? No, they exist for the sake of her babies. The womb, which men lack, and the monthly menstrual cycle also exist for the sake of her babies.</p>

||
<p>To whom do a woman’s reproductive organs belong? Do they belong to her husband or to herself? They belong to her husband. In the end, we see that a woman is created to live for her husband and her children. So a husband must attend to his wife as the queen of queens. When his wife is breast feeding and nurturing the baby, the husband must do everything he can for the sake of his wife and baby.</p>

<p>The husband is responsible to rear the children born to him and his wife to become filial children, patriots to the nation, saints for the world and finally divine sons and daughters of God. In this way, husband and wife relate as subject and object partners. In terms of quality, men and women are equal in value. However, in terms of the order of things, the husband, who holds the seed of life within him, is the subject partner. With her husband as absolute subject partner, a wife and the children should create one heart and one body and offer a true family to God.</p>

||
<h3 align="center">One World Family</h3>
|
||
<p>Ladies and gentlemen, with the opening of the new millennium we are moving quickly in the direction of a unified world. We are going beyond “one nation under God” and are moving toward “one universe under God.” The unified family of humankind that I prophesied many years ago is becoming a reality.</p>
|
||
<p>There are still formidable obstacles on the path, in particular racism and religious strife. These stand against the will of God. God is the first ancestor of humankind. In a manner of speaking, white people are a polar bear race. Starting in the Arctic regions they spread to Scandinavia, Britain, and on across the world. The yellow race lived mainly in Asia practicing agriculture. They had a deep love for the land, so their skin turned brown. Black people are like the black bear of the tropics. The reason their skin is black is that they lived near the equator, where the sun’s rays are intense. The different skin colors among the races have no significance in terms of superiority or inferiority. It is simply a matter of our having adapted to different environments.</p>
|
||
<p>In fact, we know that the qualitative makeup of our bodies is 99.96% identical. From God’s standpoint, skin color has no qualitative significance whatsoever. In fact, the God of love is color blind. God did not create different races with differing skin colors. In the spirit world, there are no white people or black people. The only color that exists there is the color of true love.</p>

||
<p>Strife among religious groups is a particularly serious obstacle blocking humanity’s effort to bring about world peace. God did not create denominations or religious groups. In fact, religion itself is a result of the fall. Satan fosters denominational schism and religious divisions. In the spirit world, there are no walls between nations, denominations, or religions. It is a world composed of one huge family.</p>
|
||
<p>Jesus’ words in <a href="http://bible.gospelcom.net/cgi-bin/bible?passage=John+3:16">John 3:16</a>, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life,” take us beyond the boundaries of Christianity to reveal the global, ubiquitous, universal nature of salvation.</p>

||
<p>Traditionally, Satan always works to build barriers between people, and God works to tear these down. With the progress of God’s providence, we see in the spirit world that already there are no barriers between the religions centering on the four great founders. Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed and Confucius can go back and forth and communicate freely among themselves.</p>
|
||
<p>Because I know these things well, I strongly encouraged all clergy during my recent fifty-state tour to transcend their denomination and unite as one. In fact, 144,000 churches are now leading this movement through the United Federation of Churches, centered on the American Clergy Leadership Conference. In the future, the <a href="http://www.unification.net/homechurch">home church</a> format, centered on the family unit, gradually will become well established.</p>

||
<p>Ultimately, organized churches, temples and mosques will disappear. In addition, the movement to break down barriers for the sake of world peace, which I explained at the United Nations, is rapidly moving forward. The Interreligious and International Federation for World Peace is leading the way. Centering on WANGO, the World Association of Non-Governmental Organizations, this movement is spreading from the United Nations headquarters in New York across the continents and oceans of the world.</p>

<h3 align="center">The Meaning of Our Age</h3>
|
||
<p>Ladies and gentlemen, this year begins the seventh millennium of biblical history and the third millennium after Jesus. It is the time of completion for the Completed Testament Age, in which the promises of the Old and New Testaments are fulfilled and the Kingdom of Heaven is brought into reality on earth and in heaven in accordance with the completion of the spirit world.</p>

<p>I was victorious in setting all indemnity conditions necessary for the “Coronation Ceremony of God’s Kingship.” This January 13, I carried out this ceremony. This was the most joyous day in providential history, because it liberated our Parent in Heaven from the path of sorrow that He has endured since the fall of the first human ancestors. Now I would like to speak on the <i>Coronation Ceremony of God’s Kingship.</i></p>

||
<h3 align="center">Teachings at the Coronation Ceremony</h3>
|
||
<p>We can hold this Coronation Ceremony for God’s Kingship for the first time because all the people on earth and in heaven were blessed and form a homogeneous nation. To do that, religions from Judaism, to the second Israel centering on Christianity, to Korea, went through the realms of the first, second and third Israels and the eras of the Old, New and Completed Testaments.</p>
|
||
<p>The Completed Testament is the era of the blessing for all. Because of the fall of the human ancestors, all things created by God could not stand in the realm of blessing. Therefore, God taught people by establishing numerous religions, leading them through the salvation providence and raising them step-by-step to the era of the Completed Testament.</p>
|
||
<p>The people of the peripheral religions were not aware of this. Judaism and Christianity paved the road of serving God as our Father. On that foundation Jesus came as the only Son of God in the end times. God lost human history due to Adam and Eve’s failure. However, for the first time the only son whose blood lineage God could love was born on earth: Jesus. The elder son was born.</p>

||
<p>Although the only begotten son was born, no “only begotten daughter” appeared. It can be said that God created Adam again after four-thousand-year history of salvation. After making Adam, God created Eve as Adam’s counterpart by imitating Adam, applying the same principle and blueprint used when creating Adam.</p>
|
||
<p>The Bible says that God created Eve by taking the rib of Adam. It means that God adopted the core of Adam to create Eve. That is why the perfected Adam would be in the position of God’s only son. God found the only son through the direct lineage of love, but did not find the “only daughter.” In order to find Eve, God had to restore fallen history through a family and engraft it on the national level. God prepared Jacob and the twelve tribes, considered the chosen people, and established the nation of Israel. Jacob’s twelve sons gained ground and expanded the area of victory. This brought into being the nation of Israel and Judaism, which led the providence up until Jesus’ advent.</p>
|
||
<p>The nation of Israel was external and Cain-like, while Judaism was internal and Abel-like. His bride, who would become a mother, was to have been chosen on the foundation of the unity of Cain and Abel.</p>
|
||
<p>After that, by serving Jesus as parent, the nation of Israel and the religion of Judaism should have united as Cain and Abel centering on God’s lineage. Then, centering on the blessed family of Jesus, a clan and nation would have been established. No one can deny this. Even though Rome dominated the world, it would have been no match.</p>
|
||
<p>External things are like flesh, while internal things are like bones. Flesh cannot defeat bones. If Israel had taken such position, the unity of all nations, the liberation of God and the coronation ceremony for God’s Kingship would have been achieved two thousand years ago. But, because Jesus couldn’t find a restored Eve and form a family, the chosen people of Israel and their nation were destroyed. All was lost.</p>

||
<h3 align="center">The Mission of Christianity</h3>
|
||
<p>Because the foundation of people was lost, Israel suffered greatly. In the seventh century, the religion of Islam emerged among the central people who received much blessing from God upon their return from Egypt. Muslims and Israelites were brothers, but became adversaries. Ishmael and Isaac were direct descendants of Abraham but they became adversaries and fought throughout history. They fought centering on Jerusalem, and Israel was lost. The lost Israel should be restored, but not by force.</p>
|
||
<p>If Cain and Abel had achieved peace in Jesus’ time, the war between left wing and right wing on the national level would have been solved on earth and in spirit world. But because the prepared nation of Israel failed to receive the Messiah, the Second Advent of the Lord became necessary. Centering on Christianity, which became the second Israel, the Roman Empire was conquered.</p>
|
||
<p>Because Jesus lost his physical body, Christianity expanded its influence worldwide representing the spiritual realm. After World War II, the world unified based upon Christian culture. By that unification, Satan was overcome at that moment. The allied nations and opposing nations could have been restored to God. On this foundation, if Catholics and Protestants had become one representing Christian culture and welcomed the Second Advent of the Messiah, the True Parents of humankind, the world would have been united. This would have taken place within seven years of 1945, by 1952. The Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God would have been held at that time.</p>
|
||
<p>But, Christianity did not recognize the returning Lord. To this day Christians have persecuted the Unification Church. As the first Israel and Judaism opposed Christianity, Christianity opposed the Unification Church. As this transpired, all religions lost their footing. Christianity, Buddhism, Confucianism and Islam now have the form of religion, but they have declined in spiritual vitality. Not only religions, but also families, societies, nations and the world have become hellish. God’s ideal realm of love was nowhere to be found on earth. In America, there is no family in which husband and wife, or mind and body are united in the original standard. Parents and children are fighting. There is no family in which parents and children are absolutely one. All are separated in a world of selfish individualism.</p>
|
||
<p>Buddhism, Confucianism, Christianity and Islam remained as forms of religion based on cultural status and educated people the world over about the mission of the messiah. Then, who is the Lord of the Second Advent? It is the True Parents.</p>
|
||
<h3 align="center">Jesus and God’s Blood Lineage</h3>
|
||
<p>True parents bring true love and true blood lineage. False parents instigated fallen love and they planted the fallen lineage. In the original world, people are to create true families centering on God, to create a family of true sons and daughters by connecting with the true blood lineage. To become the children of True Parents, our lineage should be connected to True Parents. Without blood lineage, the true parent and child relationship is impossible. Even God cannot separate people from their blood lineage, nor can Satan. Because of this, in the Completed Testament age, the failures of both the Old Testament era and the New Testament era can be indemnified through the true lineage of the blessed families who received the blessing of True Parents.</p>
|
||
<p>We should engraft into the blood lineage of God according to the original standard. With that, we should become people of one body, one mind and one thought who reach beyond the realm of death. Satan cannot touch anyone with a good heart who goes through life and death difficulties on the family, national and world levels. Such a person is in the direct dominion of God and Satan has no power over him.</p>
|
||
<p>If the people had received Jesus to the extent that he as the bridegroom could have had his own marriage supper, he would not have died. Satan could not have touched him. Because Jesus completed his responsibility, he entered the direct dominion of God. In the direct dominion, God’s blood lineage is connected; therefore, there is no way for Satan to break in. The problem is that we have not advanced to that level. If Adam and Eve had married and loved with God’s true love, they would have been unable to fall. Satan could not have separated them. Adam and Eve were in their growing period; the fruit was not ripe. Unripe fruit does not produce seeds. It has no eternal life. The place to dispose of lifeless things is hell. They have no relationship with God.</p>

||
<p>The father-son relationship hinges upon blood lineage. The son inherits the parents’ blood lineage. Inheritance of the blood lineage does not just happen by itself. It cannot take place in a single entity. Neither man nor woman alone can do it. It absolutely requires a mixture of blood from both a husband and a wife. With the foundation of the harmonious unity of man and woman, the internal and external character of their blood lineages become completely one with the fundamental cosmic principles. Then the substantial mind, representing the internal character, results in a substantial body representing the external character, and ultimately a human being is created and a life is brought into the world.</p>
|
||
<p>Humanity stems from Adam’s family. Therefore, humanity is like a giant tree stemming from Adam’s family. Centering on Adam and Eve, who were created as substantial beings by God, we are like branches and leaves that fill the entire tree in all four directions. We are like branch factories that manufacture heavenly citizens. By doing so, with the help of the True Parents of Heaven and Earth, we earn the qualification to live eternally in heaven. This is how we co-create the ideal kingdom of God in heaven and on earth.</p>
|
||
<h3 align="center">Prolongation of God’s Coronation</h3>
|
||
<p>Christianity, working spiritually, has tried to unite Cain and Abel, to build the reconciliation between religions and even to build a bridge between God and Satan. Upon this foundation, if the Lord of the Second Advent had come, built his own true family and secured God’s sovereignty, the history of restoration would have concluded.</p>
|
||
<p>But this providence was not completed. After World War II, America as the second Israel standing on the Christian foundation, should have welcomed the True Parents who came as the third Adam and lord of heaven and earth. The foundation for the kingdom of God in heaven and on earth should have been established and liberated, centering on the creation of the kingdom of the third Israel.</p>
|
||
<p>It has been 56 long years since this consummation once again failed. Thus, to hold this coronation ceremony to honor God is like a dream realized for me. Who should hold this ceremony for God? To answer that, let us ask who destroyed the hope for such a ceremony to begin with? It was Satan and Adam. Because Adam and Eve could not assume the True Parent’s position, Satan entered the picture and the True Parents’ blood lineage was not established. The fall left the trails of Satan’s blood lineage, and neither God nor Satan could deny or reverse the consequences.</p>
|
||
<p>It is difficult for Satan to destroy what he has created. No one likes to destroy or dramatically modify what he created. This is true even for Satan. God by Himself cannot reverse the consequences of the fall. If He had the ability to do so, He would never have lost Adam’s family to Satan in the first place.</p>
|
||
<p>By principle, this is clear. The perfected Adam is the only person who can repair the damage. We have to understand that the perfected Adam’s family is the only family that can possess the original nature of love that originated from God.</p>
|
||
<p>Everything needs a central position, like the center of a circle, as a reference point. The completion of restoration is no exception. Then what is the center of the blessed family? To answer that, let us ask, who gives the blessing? The True Parents do. But, who officiates marriages in today’s world? Who should officiate the ceremony through which children come to resemble their parents and inherit their parents’ blood lineage? Without the fall, the True Parents would. But as a result of the fall, an angelic type dignitary approved by the secular world officiates the weddings of our children. [In terms of its value for restoring blood lineage] this is like climbing a mountain by walking on a horizontal ladder.</p>
|
||
<h3 align="center">Restoring the Order of Love</h3>
|
||
<p>On October 14 of last year, I declared the completion of the unification of all the religions in both the spiritual and physical worlds. All the saints in the spirit world, my own children who have joined the spirit world and all the blessed couples were included. In summary, the True Parents are the king and queen of the families. Has there ever been anyone who could claim that he or she is the king or queen of the family, standing as a representative of heaven and earth, with absolute purity? In order to become the king of the family, we have to become the parents among parents and the first son among first sons.</p>
|
||
<p>Among brothers, the first son should be the first to marry and start his family. Everything has an order. There is a term in Korean translated as “reversed marriage.” This refers to reversal in the order of marriage between elder and younger siblings. The order is violated quite often today. This phenomenon actually reflects the path of restoration. Thus people go this way and that way and even follow the reversed order. The disorder should no longer take place. If the right order is forgotten, everything will fall apart. The world has become this way.</p>
|
||
<p>How are we going to repair or undo this? Incest, illicit love relationships and all such problems stem from this confusion. Couplings between grandfathers and granddaughters, grandfathers and daughters-in-law, it’s all out there. Incestuous relationships occur because people revolve around without knowing the center. They don’t know whether to turn one degree, 180 degrees or 360 degrees. Consequently they grab and consume one another. In this era of confusion, of chaos and family-level disarray, everyone floats around randomly to hook up with one another without any sense of order, even beyond the national level. The self-indulgent life style of many diplomats testifies to this.</p>
|
||
<p>Who can bring order to this world? God could not interfere with the fall or with marriages under Satan’s reign. Likewise even in the last days, there is no way God can interfere. Since false parents created false love and false life, true parents have to reject these and restore true love, life and lineage through indemnity.</p>
|
||
<h3 align="center">Liberation Through Sacrifice</h3>
|
||
<p>What is the meaning of <a href="http://bible.gospelcom.net/cgi-bin/bible?passage=Matthew+10:39">Matthew 10:39</a>, “Those who seek their life will lose it”? We should be able to reach beyond the level of death in fulfilling God’s providence. We should be able to say, “I still have energy to do God’s work, even after I die.” Then, we will live. There is no resurrection for those who fear death and run away to save themselves.</p>

<p>Then, what about God and True Parents? What if God takes the position where He is willing to lose His life? He will live. If God lives for His own life, then there will be no completion. That is the way that God saves fallen humanity. If you throw a rope over a cliff to save the people at the bottom, you will have to pull the rope until you bring everybody up to the top. By the same token, when God offers everything for humankind, He too will live. Therefore, the Messiah should work even harder than God. He should be willing to lose his life.</p>
|
||
<p>In the Western world, people shout, “I want freedom! Freedom! Freedom!” Although Western education is good, it is still confined within the boundary of the fallen world. The concepts of family, society, world, religion and the providence of God are missing. In this regard, the Oriental and Western systems are 180 degrees opposite. Even the perspective on the family is different.</p>
|
||
<p>Therefore, in the last days the western world’s tradition will decline. We cannot find the concepts of tribe, people, nation, world and cosmos in selfish individualism. How can we awaken the new concept in the world and cosmos? Reverend Moon has taught everything from the view of the family all the way to the view of God. Ultimately we even have to liberate God. I started from the smallest level and finally came to the position of liberating God.</p>
|
||
<p>How did I do it? We start with the smallest point, mind-body unity. Upon that absolute unity, the family, nation and world can return to God. As long as one clings to selfish individualism, he cannot reach that position. This individualism is the enemy of religion, conscience and God. It is connected directly to Satan. Did you come here as a spectator? Or have you come to hear my message and go through this difficult course successfully? It makes no difference whether you are a laborer or a graduate of Yale, Harvard or Oxford. Who likes free sex more, white people or black people? If black people like it, they do so because they learned to from white people. The life of free sex and homosexuality will inevitably lead people to drugs and AIDS, which are detrimental to human survival. It is a tragedy that in some cities in Africa, 60% of the people have AIDS. If this trend continues, those cities may disappear in 15 to 20 years. Within two generations, everyone will die. The AIDS virus lies dormant for no more than 8 to 15 years.</p>
|
||
<h3 align="center">Taking on the Core Problems</h3>
|
||
<p>Let us turn our attention to the United Nations. The organizations such as NGOs have many problems. They do not want to deal with the difficult issues. The NGO representatives from around the world talk about this or that societal evil, issues within their realm of influence. When they hear that the UN should unite the world and solve the problems of communism and other problems, it is beyond their ability to achieve, so they accept me as someone who can help them. They believe that I am on the right track. They do not know how to deal with problems such as youth immorality, family breakdown and AIDS. No president or UN Secretary General knows how to preserve pure lineage for humankind. They may ask themselves, “Is this solution true, or a dream?”</p>
|
||
<p>Now, I would like to explain the conditions we must follow after the Coronation Ceremony for God’s Kingship. Up until now, the most serious problem has been that of lineage. We are talking about our blood lineage. That is the most important thing. Kingship is not as important. Being parents is not as important. Society and government are not as important. School is not as important. All the nations of this world do not belong to God. They belong to Satan. Therefore, humanity has no choice but to follow the teachings of God and True Parents.</p>
|
||
<p>One reason free democratic nations like America are hobbled is that the labor unions misuse their power. I will tell you how you can resolve that problem. In the same way blue-collar workers form a union, stock owners can also form a union. They can work together. Then each year will be much more productive than the last. There should be mutual benefits for each party, the employees union and employers union. They can compete with each other and see how much profit they can generate within three years. If employees have worked hard, they deserve a bonus. On the other hand, if the employers have worked more, they deserve to receive more. By using this method, they will never fight. In western society, no one has given this any thought. And as another idea, I will call on the religious organizations and blessed families of the world. We will make a religious union. Will you join with me?</p>
|
||
<p>Once we solve the labor union problems, the problem of communism will be solved, too. Communist countries such as Russia, China and North Korea are free from labor union problems. Then what propelled labor unions in the developed countries? It was the diplomacy of Russia aimed at destroying the free world. They encouraged laborers to take as much as they could get.</p>
|
||
<p>No matter how you look at it, whether you are oriental, white or black, you are having so much trouble. From now on, whether you like to or not, you really should listen to what I have to offer. It is your decision whether to remain engulfed in trouble and confusion. Today you decided to stand with me and your determination should not change. Now you must act based on sincere affection.</p>
|
||
<h3 align="center">Have No Fear</h3>
|
||
<p>What are we supposed to do in this new millennium? Up until now, neither God nor the True Parents were liberated. But from this moment on, the Parents of Heaven and Earth are liberated and the children also are liberated. There is nothing to fear. Even if you are locked up, you should not be afraid. I am eager to join the spirit world at a young age. Should I fear going to the kingdom of heaven at a young age? The cosmos is in my hands. You should not deny that you have ultimate value as a child of God. You should not worry.</p>
|
||
<p>Today, by holding God’s kingship ceremony, we have changed the nation. It is the time to worry about how to follow the will of God. God has been pained with the history of resentment. We need to provide the supportive force so that God can do whatever He wants to do.</p>
|
||
<p>God is to have full authority based on this new kingship. We should be able to say to God, “Come out, I will guide your way. God, please wake me up and take me along.” You know how to guide, don’t you? Whether or not God can visit you, you should know how to guide Him. From now on things will change.</p>
|
||
<p>Do you know how to achieve perfection as an individual? Do you know that individual perfection comes through mind and body unity? At the time of the fall, the body that inherited Satan’s blood lineage became stronger than the conscience. This was the problem. Under no circumstances we should follow bodily desires.</p>
|
||
<h3 align="center">Three Immutable Laws</h3>
|
||
<p>From now, we have to recognize and abide by immutable law. The first law is that one must not stain the blood lineage, even to the point of dying. The second law is not to infringe upon human rights. Whether female or male, black or white, everyone is equal. One must not discriminate or violate human rights. For this reason, people who are in a leadership position must not change someone else’s position according to their own desire or feeling.</p>
|
||
<p>The one who practices true love, honoring human rights in the correct way, living for the sake of others, is in the mainstream. The creation of heaven and earth began from that point. Whoever commits an act that dilutes or squanders this main current of thought is not to be tolerated. Violation of this is the second of all sins.</p>
|
||
<p>The third law is to refrain from stealing money to fulfill selfish desires. Seventy percent of the people in jail are there because of these crimes. If you are imprisoned, you will see this is true. Human rights infringements and lineage violations are problems that concern man and woman. Then come the money problems. Following these are the problems dealing with power and money. Money, knowledge and power have ruled the satanic world.</p>
|
||
<p>From today forward, the blessed blood lineage that has been bequeathed through God’s love and life cannot be contaminated by actions immersed in the habitual patterns of the fallen world. Can you abide by this rule? All couples, even if your spouse is dead, must pledge today that you will not stain your lineage. We must not forget this memorial day. When there is a quarrel between a husband and a wife, you should be able to stop immediately by remembering January 13. In the West, thirteen is the worst of all numbers. If the center consists of 12 months, the principle of heaven and earth will circulate through the year. However since this center number 13 does not exist, everything is in chaos and it has become an irrational, confusing world. God’s desire is to straighten it out; therefore, once you understand this principle, you must abide by it even if you have to die a thousand times. Think of this as a moment to make an unbreakable, impermeable determination.</p>
|
||
<p>What’s the first? Purity! Second? Abuse of human rights! Third? Misuse of money! On this memorial day, in order to maintain the sovereign power, the kingship of heaven, and to stand before it as a people, parents, wife, children, and brothers and sisters, this is absolutely necessary. Therefore, you cannot neglect your older brother. You cannot neglect your younger brother merely because he is handicapped. In the secular world, people may not care, but we cannot neglect in-laws or relatives.</p>
|
||
<h3 align="center">How Shall We Live?</h3>
|
||
<p>You who graduated from a university neglect those who only completed high school. That is a sin. It violates human rights. Following that offense is the misuse of money. The selfish abuse of the public environment is as sinful and fearful as taking public money. Those with such a lifestyle will not succeed regardless of how they try to live a good life. Try living this way. No matter how much you pray to God, you will not be able to evangelize effectively. Even if you bring a guest, the guest will come as far as the front door and turn back and leave; they will not come in.</p>
|
||
<p>The whole universe dislikes those who incur a debt. Within your clan, who would like it if one person created a problem for everyone else and caused the clan to fall into debt? In the end the entire clan will come forward and punish this troublemaker. That time is coming.</p>
|
||
<p>Do you understand the three points? Count the number of determinations you have made in your heart to follow the laws of the kingdom of heaven. Do you pledge to do that? The laws have to do with purity, equalization of all people, and proper use of national property. You should understand everything well and make it habitual. You will avoid the wrong actions only when you reach the stage in which as soon as your mouth opens these articles of the kingdom of heaven come out.</p>
|
||
<p>There is no doubt you will face these challenges in life. There will probably be many such circumstances, but if you make an effort to abstain from violating the law, the challenges will make you a victorious person. As long as you keep up with these heavenly laws, you do not need Reverend Moon’s teaching. You will naturally enter the Kingdom of God.</p>
|
||
<p>What do we do next? What kind of life do you want to live? We all want to live well. Then, do you consider living alone to be a good life? No! We should live together. With what kind of people and following what rules and environment?</p>
|
||
<p>It is simple. There are three answers: the parent-child relationship, the conjugal relationship and the brother-sister relationship. This last one means brothers and sisters in the position of children to the parents; it refers to a relationship among children of the same parents. This is why one’s family has a mother and a father; from that couple came sons and daughters. You have the brother-sister relationship because you stand before the same mother and father. In my eyes, third cousins, the in-laws and all the cousins and so on including all people are related, sharing the brother-sister relationship. Once the parent-child relationship and conjugal relationship are connected, brothers and sisters will automatically come to exist. The relationships within this wide range of humankind may be called brother-sister relationships. They are created to live a good life in harmony.</p>
|
||
<p>To live a virtuous life, guidance is necessary. Each person has to be an example to others. That defines a virtuous way of life. If you cannot become a model for others, you are not leading a true life. If your life can serve as an example before the mother and the father, the husband and wife, and children, then you are living a virtuous life.</p>
|
||
<h3 align="center">Goals for Your Life</h3>
|
||
<p>So, what will result from living such a life? The day will come when the king of heaven and the king of the earth will visit the family with the exemplary life and exalt them. Early in January of each year, the kings will like to visit your family. The time will come when the nation will recognize the family within its borders that is living the best life. The family receiving the recognition has to consist of three generations each of which form the perfected four-position foundation [the oneness of God, husband, wife and children]. The time will come when the president will present the award in that family’s home.</p>
|
||
<p>There are three relationships, parent and child, husband and wife, and among the children. The brother-sister relationship is a consequence of the harmony of all these relationships. Therefore, whether in a brother-sister relationship or children’s relationship, in order to become a person standing in the position of subject, you must influence others positively, such that not even one person can live without you.</p>
|
||
<p>From now on, even if you are accused as a traitor and executed in the view of the world, if you keep these things absolutely, your family will belong to the heavenly royal family that possesses eternal freedom, unity and liberation.</p>
|
||
<p>I want you to remember this clearly. Keep it as a motto. In the motto of the third millennium, I mentioned pure lineage, the equality of human rights, and the preservation of national public assets. That means, do not be a thief. What is next? Be an example! Be an exemplary parent, exemplary spouse, exemplary child and exemplary sibling. If you form such a family, people in your neighborhood will say, “We should follow that person. I want to live with him.” That person is surely a citizen of kingdom of heaven, and heaven will remember that family forever.</p>
|
||
<p>I explained to you on this historic day, the day of the Coronation Ceremony of God’s Kingship, the three most important things that humankind must uphold and by which you can be truly liberated in your family and in your nation. I hope you can remember these contents and keep them as the goals of your life.</p>
|
||
<p>In the Completed Testament era, we must understand about the spirit world. May you study about spirit world and God, and may you live for the sake of others. If you do so, you will receive the blessing and become a blessed family. Through living for others, you prepare for your eternal life. We all should try to gain this heavenly fortune, which surpasses the fruit of all earthly effort.</p>
|
||
<p>In front of the living God, with humility, let us be children of filial piety and loyalty. Let us become the sacred children of God. In light of God’s sovereignty, in this age of kingship, let us stand together to establish a world of peace, love and harmony.</p>
|
||

<p>Honorable former and present heads of state, distinguished religious leaders, and representatives of world leaders.</p>
|
||
<p>I sincerely acknowledge the hard work you have invested to make this Seventh World Culture and Sports Festival shine ever more brightly.</p>
|
||
<p>I am also grateful that you have shown appreciation for my work and vision, and that you have promised to give constant support for it in the coming days. In return, I would like to give you world leaders a precious gift in words this evening. I speak from the truth found through immense suffering on a journey begun in my youth. This journey has brought me to the boundless world of Heaven. Tonight I will speak about the principles of the spirit world that we enter after death, a world no one can ignore. I would also like to introduce some aspects of life in the Kingdom of Heaven, the realm everyone desperately wants to enter.</p>
|
||
<p>As a result of the Fall, the first human ancestors could not wed each other with God’s blessing. They fell while they were still growing up, by disobeying God and committing adultery with Satan. Satan became an adulterer, and our problem lies in the fact that they inherited Satan’s blood lineage.</p>
|
||
<p>According to the principles of creation, man is to enter the Kingdom of Heaven after he lives the life of the Kingdom of God on Earth. We live the Kingdom life on Earth through establishing the unity of mind and body, the unity of husband and wife and the unity of children. By inheriting God’s lineage, we were supposed to connect this directly to the spirit world. How?</p>
|
||
<p>The very moment a true bridegroom makes love with his true bride for the first time is the moment that the perfection of husband and wife is achieved. The palace of love on Earth, that is the center of Heaven and Earth, begins in that first moment of making love. Through this love, the original palace of love is created for the first time. The life and blood lineage of humankind begin from that point of love. From the same point, a nation is born. The veritable Kingdom of God in Heaven and on Earth too begins with the opening of that door of first love.</p>
|
||
<p>When a man and a woman become one through love and create children, they substantiate the invisible God in visible form. Love is the power that can combine and commingle blood. Then what is the axis for this mixing of blood? It is the place in which the love organs of husband and wife meet and make the first love. That is a power station, the very plant for the generation of the power of true love, the power of true life, the power of true lineage, the power for the Kingdom of God on Earth through the true family, and the power for the Kingdom of God in Heaven. Thus, the wedding of Adam and Eve, who were in the position of God’s substantial object partners, would have been God’s wedding. They would have brought God’s liberation and freedom, and God Himself would have sung and danced.</p>
|
||
<p>Knowing this should fill us with awe and terror over the holiness of the first love. When the first love is corrupted, we destroy the palace of love, the palace of life, the palace of lineage and everything that was to have blossomed forth. This is the dreadful reality of the Fall. Through it we lost the Kingdom of God in Heaven and on Earth. Heaven and Earth turned into Hell. Throughout history, man’s love organ has symbolized the worst of slander and curses, because it destroyed Heaven and Earth. God’s ideal of love was to have settled perfectly beginning at the place of first love, through the marriage of the man’s love organ and the woman’s love organ. That point, centering on man-woman love, establishes the perfected object partner of God. That point is the nucleus of the universe. If the axis connecting God with the love organs of man and woman is broken, the entire universe shatters.</p>
|
||
<p>Since the marriage of man and woman is the original spring of love, it becomes the original palace of love, the original palace of life and the original palace of lineage. Our longing for freedom and happiness springs from there. What’s more, all individuals, families, tribes and peoples originate there. The foundation for peace and the Kingdom of God in Heaven and on Earth take root in love. Through the union the love organs, man and woman are blended completely. This love relationship produces the fruit of good or of evil. We must comprehend the infinite value of our love organs. The way of Heaven teaches us that whether we are a man or a woman, we must never misuse them.</p>
|
||
<p>Incited by Satan’s false love, Adam and Eve committed adultery and became a false couple. As false parents they formed a false family and transmitted sin to their children. The providence of salvation is a providence of restoration. We have to root out that very mistake of misusing love and restore true love. Through God’s true love, the restored Adam should take the true parents’ position and engraft humankind to himself. A man and woman perfected through true love shall establish a true family with God’s blessing.</p>
|
||
<p>Man is to build an ideal family and perfect his spirit self while living on Earth. We then enter Heaven in the spirit world. Our original hometown is the Kingdom of God in Heaven, where our spirit lives in God’s love for eternity. The Fall closed our spiritual senses. This is why we do not know about our spirit self or about Heaven in the spirit world. Unlike animals, we possess a spirit self. We should know about the world of Heaven that we inevitably will enter. The family is the school, the training center in which we can perfect our heart. Family life guides us to master ourselves for the sake of sharing love with others. Thus, the family is the base upon which we can build the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of Heaven is where we are intoxicated in the service of God as our King and Master. We can enter there, but only as families.</p>
|
||
<p>The ultimate ideal of all living beings is to become the object partner of God’s true love and live with God. To ascend to a higher place in Heaven, live as God lives, investing your life for the sake of others. The one who sacrifices himself for the sake of his family, his family for the sake of his tribe, his tribe for his nation, his nation for the world, the world for Heaven and Earth, and Heaven and Earth for the sake of God, is the closest one to God. He or she will stand as the object partner of God’s true love. God, the Creator of the universe, has been sacrificing Himself for the sake of the universe more than anyone. Thus, to encounter Him and live with Him, we need training through a true love life, a life lived for the sake of others. Although God is the King of knowledge, the King of power and the King of wealth, He does not ask us to bring Him those things. God is waiting for the one who lives for the sake others in the spirit of true love here on Earth!</p>
|
||
<p>Distinguished world leaders!</p>
|
||
<p>Many people rattle off words about God’s absoluteness, omnipotence and glory. Nonetheless, through my lifelong search for truth, I have found that to be way off the mark. God lost His loving children as a result of the first ancestors’ Fall. If your children are imprisoned, can you live in glory? God’s heart is in the deepest pain. What’s more, God had to give Satan the beautiful creation that He made for His children. From the moment He lost His object partner of love, the God of true love became the God of loneliness. God was never in the position to exercise His power as the Lord of the universe. God never had the chance to display His authority as the Creator of all things. Meanwhile, fallen people often boast of themselves for nothing. Even though He is the owner of all that has breath, God was never able to reveal His pride. Being the author of the principles that guide the universe, how can God move freely in the fallen world, the world of non-principle? Humankind, living with all degrees of distrust and disobedience, even ignore God and mock God as non-existent and dead. God has endured this long history in a heart of agony. Truly, His waiting has seemed endless.</p>
|
||
<p>This tragedy transpired because Adam and Eve fell while they were growing up, and became false parents. Out of profound respect for their freedom and responsibility, God did not intervene directly to rectify their mistake. For that reason, we find in history that the Lord has appeared as the second Adam and the third Adam, in order to indemnify the mistake of the first Adam and perfect the ideal of true parentship. In this way, everything should be restored. Until then, God waits anxiously. This is the real story behind history: it was a providence of restoration to liberate God’s aching heart.</p>
|
||
<p>I have done my absolute best to fulfill the mission of True Parents. I paid no attention whatsoever to my welfare or status. To build a church was not even my goal. I had but one goal: to walk all the way to liberate God’s heart from pain and help Him realize His wish. In other words, I have invested myself totally to set God free from agony, to establish Him as the Lord of the universe, and to set the foundation for humankind to serve Him as the King of the cosmos.</p>
|
||
<p>Do you think that this task is easy? I had to make Satan surrender both in Heaven and on Earth. I had to tear down all the walls and even bring Hell to an end. We cannot liberate God’s heart through true love unless we prepare all people on Earth and in the spirit world to receive God’s blessing in freedom. Satan has to recognize this work officially, and it has to accord with the law of the universe. Satan has enjoyed his ruling power over nations in this world. Therefore, we are challenged to set conditions through victories that transcend nations and the world itself.</p>
|
||
<p>Dear world leaders!</p>
|
||
<p>This is a day to rejoice. I have set these conditions and on the 13<sup>th</sup> day of January this year, I held the coronation ceremony for the Kingship of God in Korea. That was the greatest day of celebration in all human history. We liberated God’s heart for the first time. He could start His new history based on the might and power of true love. This is the dawn of the new age, in which humankind in Heaven and on Earth can attend the liberated God in gratitude. From now we will easily witness the living God and often notice helping hands from the spirit world.</p>
|
||
<p>I urge you to study about the spirit world with greater eagerness and to receive the God-centered blessing so that you can build a true family. I also encourage you to prepare for your eternal life through living unselfishly. The time has come that people who work hard will feel the hand of Heavenly fortune, with which the limited power of human beings cannot compare. Those who live the life of a filial child, a patriot, a saint and a divine son or daughter before the living God, with a humble and self-effacing attitude, are the most fortunate. At the advent of the era of God’s Kingship, I pray that you will promote God’s Kingship. May we work in partnership to build the world of heart and culture transcending nations.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">What do we celebrate today? (The Coronation of God!) What a strange term. God? (Coronation!) Who did the coronation? (God!) Can True Parents do this by themselves? We can hold this ceremony because all the people on Earth and in Heaven were blessed and form a homogeneous nation.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">

||
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Therefore, to do that, religions from Judaism, to the second Israel centering on Christianity, to Korea, went through the realm of the first, second and third Israel and the Old, New and Completed Testament eras. The Completed Testament is the era of the blessing of all. Because of the fall of the human ancestors, all things created by God couldn’t stand in the realm of blessing. God taught people by establishing numerous religions, leading them through the salvation providence and raising them step-by-step to the era of Completed Testament.</p>

||
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The people of the peripheral religions were not aware of this. Only Judaism and Christianity paved the road of serving God as our Father. And in the failed history of Adam and Eve, only one son was born on Earth whose blood lineage God could love. The elder son was born. Although the son was born, no “only daughter” appeared. God struggled greatly throughout the four thousand year salvation history. It can be said that God created Adam again. After making Adam, God created Eve as Adam’s counterpart. God created Eve by imitating Adam, applying same principle and blueprint used when creating Adam.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">The Bible says that God created Eve by taking the rib of Adam. It means that God adopted the core of Adam to create Eve. God found the only son through the direct lineage of love, but did not find the only daughter. After finding Eve, God would have restored fallen history through a family. God prepared Jacob, twelve tribes thought of as chosen people and Israel, to establish the nation. Jacob’s twelve children gained ground and expanded the area of victory. This was the nation of Israel and Judaism until Jesus’ advent.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">The nation of Israel was external and Cain-like, while Judaism was internal and Abel-like. The mother would be chosen on the foundation of Cain and Abel. After that, by serving Jesus, Israel and Judaism would unite as Cain and Abel. Then, centering on the blessed family, a clan and nation would have been established. Nobody can deny this.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Even though Rome dominated the world, it would have been no match. External things are like flesh, while internal things are like bones. Flesh cannot defeat bones. Centering on Israel, the unity of all nations and the liberation of God would have been achieved two thousand years ago. But, because Jesus couldn’t form a family by restoring Eve, Israel and all prepared things were destroyed.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Because the foundation of people was lost, Israel perished. And in the seventh century, the religion of Islam emerged among the central people. Muslims were brothers but became adversaries. Ishmael and Isaac were direct descendants of Abraham. But they became enemies and fought throughout history. They fought centering on Jerusalem, and Israel was lost.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">If Cain and Abel had achieved peace in Jesus’ time, the history of war between left wing and right wing on the national level would have been solved on Earth and in spirit world. But because the prepared nation Israel failed, Christianity became the second Israel. Because Jesus lost his body, Christianity representing the spirit world expanded its influence worldwide. After World War 2, Christian culture unified the world. By unifying the world, the era in which the mind and body can become one arrived. Satan was completely conquered. The allied nations and opposing nations could have been restored to God. Centering on this foundation, if Catholics and Protestants had became one representing Christian culture and welcomed the Second Advent of the Messiah; the world would have been united by 1952, seven years after 1945. The Coronation of God would have been held at that time.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">But Judaism, Israel and Christianity did not serve the Unification Church. To this day they have tried to chase the Unification Church. As the first Israel and Judaism opposed and chased Christianity and almost perished, Christianity opposed the Unification Church and almost perished. All religions perished. Christianity, Buddhism, Confucianism and Islam now have the form of religion, but they have perished. Not only religions, but also societies, nations and the world have become hell.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">God’s ideal realm of love was not on Earth. In America, there is no family in which husband and wife, mind and body are united with the original standard. There is no family in which parents and children do not fight. All are separated in a world of individualism. God’s ideal is the pair system. The pair system exists in the mineral world, plant world and animal world. Heaven and Earth should have become one, but everything separated.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">How can we turn this around and unite them? Who should do that? At the beginning, Adam’s family failed. Then the Messiah failed at the national level. Jesus was to have restored the nation and world. Because it should be recovered on Earth, the Messiah at the Second Advent inherits the realm of Christian culture on the world level, even as the world is perishing and religions have perished.</p>

||
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Christianity, Catholic and Protestant, is in the position of inheritance but are fighting and not even thinking of uniting. Until unification, they will fight and religions will fall further to the ground. In the end they will reach a dead end and the Messiah will relegate them to the last place.</p>

||
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Now people lost Heaven, religion, the world, nation, society and the family. They deny grandparents, parents, husband and wife, and children. They deny God and religion. Men and women all fell to the isolated individual position of a fallen archangel. No matter how much they desire, train or resolve to do so, they cannot overcome lust. Therefore, when someone attempts to achieve perfection, Satan will attempt spiritually to make him fall. A beautiful woman will appear and ask him to embrace her. If he surrenders and embraces her, it is over. Centering on love, life and death divide. Unless they have spiritual experience, people do not know how deep this problem is. Our body is the stage of Satan. To restore this stage to the ideal position, God worked and experienced disappointment over and over. Therefore it has taken thousands of years. Buddhism, Confucianism, Christianity and Islam remained as forms of religion that educated people the world over about the mission of the messiah.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Who is Lord of the Second Advent? He is the True Parents. True Parents bring true love and true blood lineage. False parents have fallen love and lineage. In the original world, people create families centering on God. To achieve a family of true sons and daughters, true blood lineage should be connected. To become children of True Parents, the blood lineage should be connected to True Parents. Without blood lineage, the parent and child relationship is impossible. Even God cannot separate blood lineage. Fallen Satan cannot separate it. We should be engrafted into the blood lineage of God, on the original standard.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">When one goes over the national level, he goes into the direct dominion of God. Therefore he cannot have a relationship with Satan. If Jesus had married, Satan could not have killed him. Because he came at the level of completing his responsibility, he entered into the direct dominion of God. In direct dominion, God’s blood lineage is connected; therefore there is no way for Satan to separate it. The problem is that we have not advanced to that level. If Adam and Eve had married and loved, the fall could not have occurred. They would never have been able to fall. Satan could not have separated them.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">But, during the growth period, the fruit was not ripe. Unripe fruit does not produce seeds. It has no eternal life. The place to dispose of those lifeless things is hell. It has no relationship with God. Therefore, what kind of problems exists in the father-and-son relationship? The son inherits the parents’ blood lineage. Inheritance of blood lineage does not just happen by itself. Can it take place through a single individual? It cannot take place with just a single entity, whether it is parents alone in the parent-child relationship or man alone in the man-women relationship. With the foundation of the harmonious unity of man and woman, the internal and external character of blood lineage becomes completely one with the fundamental cosmic principles. Then the substantial mind, representing the internal character, results in a substantial body representing the external character, and man is ultimately created (a life is brought into the world).</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Likewise, the meeting of the invisible content and visible form causes an explosion. Heat turns water into steam. As the temperature rises, it turns to vapor, becoming invisible. Analogously, when the invisible God, who dwells in this super-heated invisible environment, meets with a visible form in the deep freezing environment, there is an explosion.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Therefore, God Himself took spherical form centered on the internal and external character of love. However, the relationship between the two extreme characters reflects merely an internal movement and does not appear on the surface. Thus He cannot feel stimulation. However, if there exists a physical form that could function as a stimulating object … It is like an explosion caused by collision of hot and cold, or of two extreme elements through the mind.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">If love becomes the axis and if the couple is willing to love forever, they can have eternal relationship. They can become a family centered on God. Its seed will grow in an eternal motion. The seed will become a sprout and the sprout will become a fruit, a God-like fruit. Branches and buds will grow. The tree will grow big and branches will grow in all directions. Adam’s family was to have become that tree. Adam and Eve were supposed to have multiplied their descendants to fill the whole world. They would have made so many factories to create citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. They would all have lived with God in the spirit world and True Parents on Earth. When they entered the spirit world, they would have lived there forever as one body. They would have made the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth and in Heaven. Do you understand? [Yes.]

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Christianity, until now, has been trying to unite Cain and Abel on the spiritual side. It tried to restore the spiritual foundation centering on physical bodies, but it was not able to restore the substantial, physical world. But God had to restore the physical world. Battles ensued. God went above nations and tried to make of humankind one people. Thus, after the Second World War, the allied nations were victorious over the axis nations and helped rebuild them.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">
|
||
<p style="font-weight: 400;">In other words, the time has come for overcoming the Cain—Abel conflict. Based on this condition, during the postwar era, if the primary nation, America, along with England and France, had realized and accepted God’s will, God would have overcome the most difficult obstacles within three years. And within seven years the entirety of God’s Will would have been realized. In other words, based on having created the foundation of unified people under God, we would have realized our wish for a Heavenly Kingdom on Earth, where both spirit and physical worlds unite harmoniously.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">

||
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Since body and spirit could not become one in Jesus’ era, we have suffered a 2,000-year history of indemnity. On the victorious foundation based on such conditions, someone has to step forward to assume the position of spiritual parents and has to fit everything in its right place. Jesus could not do this. Since he could not marry, he could not officiate the marriages of others. Thus even God could not give Blessings. What this does is to bring forth the concept of True Parents, who can reverse and change the blood lineage through initiating the Blessing. The fact that false parents bred and spread their seed caused the struggle between God and Satan in the beginning of human history. True Parents can stand in the middle and end this struggle.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">After reconciling God and Satan, the unity of Jesus, centered on the foundation of his family, and Judaism and all religions around him, the restoration and God’s Will would have been accomplished and a divine sovereignty would have become possible. However, since this did not take place, it eventually led to World War 2, and in the post war era an analogous situation came about. America and the world represent Judaism in Israel and the other religions, respectively. Since this once again could not unite, it has taken this long so far … more than 55 years, going on 56. Thus, to hold this Coronation Ceremony to honor God is like a dream. Who was supposed to hold this ceremony for God? Who destroyed the hope for such a ceremony? Did God? Satan, Adam and Eve—all three are responsible for the mess. Because Adam and Eve could not assume the True Parents’ position, Satan entered the picture and the foundation of True Parents’ blood lineage was not established. Since the fall left trails of Satan’s blood lineage, neither God nor Satan for that matter could deny or reverse the consequences. It is difficult for Satan as well as God to destroy what he has created thus far. No body likes to destroy and entirely modify what he or she created. This is true even for Satan.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">God cannot reverse the consequences of the fall. If He had the ability to do so, He would never have lost Adam’s family to Satan. By principle and even by simple reasoning, this is clear. The only person who could repair the damage was the perfected Adam. You have to understand the fact that the [perfected] Adam’s family is the only family that can possess the love of the original nature [that originating from God]. All of you blessed families should assume that position of [perfected] Adam’s family. Representing the rest of the world, you should pray in the name of a blessed central family.</p>

||
<p style="font-weight: 400;">How many people do we have here? (About 4,000 people.) Is it 4,000 couples, or 4,000 people? (4,000 people.) 4,000 people are here representing 4,000 families, right? (Right.) No matter how many millions of people run in a marathon, there is always a winner, the best out of millions of runners. Who else gets awarded? 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, right? What kind of medals do they get? Gold, silver and bronze.How come there is no black medal? There are three, because of the principle. Everything consists of the number three, in three stages. Heaven and Earth …</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Like the center of a 360-degree circle, everything needs a central position as a reference point. The completion of restoration is no exception. Then what is the center of the blessed family? Who gives the Blessing? The parents do. Who officiates the marriage? Who should officiate the ceremony through which children can resemble their parents and inherit their parents’ blood lineage marked by their parents’ harmonious unity? The officiators are the parents. Today’s typical marriage is an act of stepping up next to someone who is famous for using a ladder, because humankind has been dragged up to the archangel [in the sky].</p>

||
<p style="font-weight: 400;">On October 14 of last year, all the holy saints and those families that were matched with Father’s children attended. This was to perform a unification ceremony of all religions. In summary, the True Parent is the king of the family. Has this term ever existed? Has there been anyone who could claim that he or she is the king or queen of the family, standing as a representative of Heaven and Earth? In order to become the king of the family, you have to be the parents among the parents and the first son among first sons. The first son should marry first and start his family first. Everything has an order. There is a term in Korean called “reverse marriage.” [This refers to reversal in the order of marriage, especially between brothers.] The order is violated quite often today. This reflects the content and concept of restoration. Thus one tries to go this way and that way and even follow the reverse order. The “reverse marriage” should not take place. If the order is reversed, everything will go belly up. The world has become this way. Now, how are we going to repair or undo this? Incest, illicit love relationships and all such problems stem from this confusion and chaos. Grandfather and granddaughter, grandfather and daughter-in-law, etc.… These incestuous relationships occur because people revolve around without knowing their center, and consequently they catch and consume one another. In this era of confusion, of great chaos and family-level confusion, whether of immediate family or relatives, everyone revolves around randomly to hook up with one another without any order, without knowing 1 degree, 10 degrees, 360 degrees or 180 degrees.</p>

||
<p style="font-weight: 400;">So, who can bring order to this world? God could not interfere with the fall as it took place in the Garden of Eden. Further, God could not interfere with Satan’s marriage. Likewise even in the last days, there is no way God can interfere. If one is sick, one cannot survive without eliminating the root source of the disease. Since false love, false life, and false parents were created, True Parents have to reject these and restore love, life and lineage through indemnity. What does it mean when one says, “those who seek death will live”? Until the indemnity is complete, those who live in the world of death and who walk to the edge of death with the spirit and energy to say, “even if I die, I will still have the energy to live,” will live. There is no resurrection for those who find death sad and fearful and run away.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">That is why the Bible says that those who seek death… (Will live!) And those who seek life (Will die!). Live? (Will die!) That doesn’t sound too good. Then, what about God? What if God takes the position where He seeks death? (He will live!) He will live. If God seeks to live then there is no consummation. What about me? It is the same. If I decide to live, I will die, and if I seek death…? (You will live!) That is the case. Do you think about whether Reverend Moon of the Unification Church thinks about being Messiah or True Parents? If I did, I would have to die every day. What do you think? If we seek death, there would be a huge commotion everywhere, everyday. But it makes sense to say we should seek death, even in the environment where it is not possible.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Those who seek death should form ties that are closely associated with Heaven and Satan, according to the time periods of three stages. When you tie knots, you are making new knots. When you make new knots, are you making big knots or small knots? As you make new knots, the thinner robe is better, right? That is ideal. If they become big, give them big hats. When they become narrow, nothing can come in.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">It is the same with God and True Parents. What about those who want to enter the Kingdom of Heaven? Is it the same? [Yes, the same.] Because I wore a heavy crown this morning, my head hurts, so please answer quickly. In order for Him to save even one man, even God has to go through the circumstances of death. He must throw down the rope and pull the person falling off the cliff with all His might. For God and us to live, we must have that standard.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">God has gone through death so many times. Those who want to go to the Kingdom of Heaven must be able to go through such hardships. So in the end, God must tire out before you. Who is older, God or you? God is the oldest, right? We must cling to the rope and reach the highest ground. How difficult would this be? By the time we make it to the top climbing up the rope, God will collapse from the exertion. Then what should we do? Should we carry Him on our backs and take Him to the hospital? If there is no hospital, we must do whatever we can on our own to save Him. We can pray, or we can go over the hill of suffering.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Who is the Messiah and Savior? Should he relax and enjoy life, or should he go through suffering so that God can rest? Can a person who enjoys life and allows God to die as a result be the Messiah? So, if I suffer, should Unification Church members play around and enjoy life? Should people who play around go to the Kingdom of Heaven or to Hell? [Hell.] Should I do what they want me to do, because I think Father doesn’t know the world? Life and death are at hand, and they just want to live a comfortable life. We should say that we all will die together. If we do, then we all can live. A person should not say that only he should live.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">If it is absolutely certain that a father wants to give his life to his son, that son must follow that father to the end. If he does not, in the end they will separate. If the father wants to die and the son wants to live, what will happen? Will they separate or not? If the father’s act is different from the son’s act, it becomes an act of Hell. The grandson born through that kind of son cannot even come to his grandfather to give him a kiss.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Among the Unification Church members, is there anyone who wants to suffer more than me? Western members in particular must desire to receive more persecution than I have. Did you come here to go sightseeing? Or did you come here to listen to me and go through a suffering course? It is a problem. There cannot be individualism here. Graduating from Yale or Harvard makes no difference. Lowly laborers can do better than such. Who likes free sex more, white people or black people? If black people like it, they do because they learned it from white people, right? Free sex, homosexuality and lesbianism will end due to AIDS and drugs. In large parts of Africa, 60% of the people have AIDS. They will collapse in 15 to 20 years. The AIDS virus hibernates for 8 to 12 years. They will be destroyed in two generations.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Are the 120 people who were standing here confident? Can you follow me? If you are confident, why do you hide your faces? If I liberated God, you should liberate me. Many countries are still not liberated. You have to liberate those 120 nations. The 120 disciples of Jesus represent 120 nations. They have to become the kings of 120 nations. You must become admirals of each nation and bring the nations back to God.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">What are the 160 families? They have to bring back all the nations of the world. If you are unable to take back a nation, you cannot become an officer of the Kingdom of Heaven. If you become a king on Earth, you can become a king in Kingdom of Heaven. Good kings can become kings of the future, but bad kings will go to Hell. They will be forgotten.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Did you fulfill your responsibility? Blessed families here, who are trying to earn regional victories for the unification of North and South Korea, are you fulfilling your responsibilities? If you get regional victories, can the world become united? Without the UN, can the world become one? As you do battle in the region, I have to work with NGOs? The NGO representatives from across the world talk about societal evils and other issues within their realms of influence. When they hear about the large perspective of how the UN should unite the world and solve the problems of Communism and other problems, they are overwhelmed and don’t have a solution And therefore they appreciate someone with a plan. They say that I am correct. They think we can hand down pure lineage while indulging youth immorality, family breakdown and AIDS.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">I have worked in South America for a few years now. The people there say that the Pacific age has come, and they want to catch whales in the sea and do other ocean-related activities. Will you follow me? [Yes.] If you want to follow me, then you have to learn to become captain of a boat. You all have to go to Antarctica now and live at least one year as krill fishermen. You have to go as couples. How maycouples are here? There can be about 20 couples per boat. Even women should work.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Are you all confident to register into the Kingdom of Heaven? There is a difference between Heung Jin, God, and Jesus. If I represent God, Heung Jin is like Jesus. You must understand that you registered into the Kingdom of Heaven with a course remaining to pass through. If you don’t want to die by accident in some Bermuda triangle, you must pass the test.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">What is today’s topic? The coronation of God’s kingship. The speech before the coronation is finished now. No matter what, you must go the way of suffering. You must learn what the course for you is after God’s coronation. So the problem is lineage. Say “Pit joo!” [Pit joo!]. What does it mean in English? Blood lineage. Say “Blood Lineage.” [Blood lineage.] That is the most important. Kingship is not important. Parentship is not important. Society and government are not important. School is not important. The many nations of this world still belong to Satan and not God.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">But now the nations have nowhere to go but to follow God and True Parents. Is George W. Bush the center of America? Gore won the popular vote. He lost because of the electoral college. It’s over. What does the US tell to the third world? It says that they should choose democracy and the bi-cameral legislative system. And those countries say to the US, “Worry about yourself. Don’t come here and preach to us. Look at yourself.” Without democracy, what will Western people do?</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">the four-year presidential term should be changed to an eight-year term. After four years candidates have to compete for the presidency again. What time do they have to do any work? They waste so much national wealth on elections. It should be eight year terms. Even in democracies it should be 16 years if you count 8 years for the husband and eight years for the wife. And if it is a family it should be 32 years. That will give hope. What can you do in 4 years? They start their election campaigns after 2 years. It’s all over. Democracy will collapse. The principle doesn’t allow it.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">One reason why a free, democratic nation like America struggles is because of the unions. I will tell you how you can resolve problems with the unions. In the same way blue-collar workers form a union, stockowners and executives should also form a union. They can work together to raise money for their family members. Then each year will be much more productive than the last. There must be mutual benefits for both parties, the employees union and employers union. They can compete with each other and see how much money they can make within three years without returning any profit to the owners. If employees have worked hard, we can give a bonus to their union. If the employers have worked more, they deserve to receive more. In this way they will never fight. In western society, there is no one who has given this any thought. If this doesn’t work out, I will call all the religious organizations and blessed families of the world. We will make a religious union. We can do that, can’t we? Let’s say I make a religious union. Will you join with me? Will you make it? (Yes.) Your answer should be yes.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Our unification members work all their lives and receive modest pay. Not only that, they even offer some of their earnings. Can a union exist in this kind of environment? No way.. I can clean the mess America has within three to seven years.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">So, unions eventually will disappear. Does Russia have unions? Does China have unions? Does North Korea have unions? What is this? Why do advanced societies have unions?</p>

Nonetheless, the Parents of Heaven and Earth and children are liberated, so you should not be afraid. Even if you are locked up, you must not be afraid. I am so curious about Heaven that I want to go to the Kingdom of Heaven as quickly as possible. If I go there young, is this good or bad? All the cosmos is in my hands. You should not deny that you are the ultimate one. You should not worry. That’s how it goes.</p>

This morning I had a very busy schedule so you should have wakened me and come with me. Sons and daughters should prepare for parents to have the kingship ceremony. Now God must have full authority centering on this kingship. Please come out, I will guide your way. You know how to guide, right? Whether God can visit or not, you know how to guide Him, right?</p>

Human rights infringement and lineage violation are problems concerning men and women. Then come the money problems. Following these are the problems dealing with power. Money, knowledge and power have ruled.</p>

Can you abide by the rule? (Yes.) All those couples that are certain to follow the rule, regardless of whether you’re a man, even if you are not sitting with your spouse, all those who are willing to keep your lineage from being stained, close your eyes so that only God can see you and make a determination. When you see something you desire, even if gold falls from a building, you’re committing (nak chwi) if you use it to purchase something. You cannot use it for your self-desire. It’s public money. Even if you bring it to me as a church offering (yun bo), I would not accept it. Even if I received it through Mother, I would not spend it. This is more fearful and terrible than poisonous drugs. You will surely be caught when you go to the spirit world.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">If there is anyone here to whom this applies, you should repent for everything before this year passes. The most fearful thing is Article I of the constitution, which is to maintain the pure lineage. You must not stain it. There are many possessions of women that can be taken away (but not that). When people make donations, I don’t even handle the money. So how do I make a living? I earn my living. If I am in need of a car, I know how to make money.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Therefore, first keep purity, especially the western members. The question is how to maintain the lineage. So what is the second point? Human rights! To protect human rights. Third? [(nak chwi) of public money!] You already took a large amount from the public funds, didn’t you? You all don’t do work yet are hoping that I will allow you to go home once a month, or once a week, right? The poor new Unification Church members. They come to this place and what is it to which they are contributing? All the troublemakers gather here seeking a comfortable place to sleep, without even following the rules and regulations. That’s all nak chwi. It completely destroys the public environment. This is equivalent to nak chwi of national property. It is horrible. Those who lead such a lifestyle will not succeed regardless of how much they try to live a good life. Try living such a way. No matter how much you pray to God, you will not be able to evangelize effectively. Even if you bring a guest, he or she will come as far as the front door and turn back and leave.</p>

I ask you, for a good life built based upon the official law of God, what kind of environment, what kind of pe, and with what group of people must you live? It is simple. There are three answers. Parent-children relationship, conjugal relationship and brother-sister relationship, with brothers and sisters in the position of children to the parents. It is a relationship among children of the same parents, the relationship between brother and sister.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">This is why one’s family has a mother and a father, then from that couple there are sons and daughters. Therefore you have the brother-sister relationship because you stand before the same mother and father. In my eyes, third cousins, the in-laws and all the cousins and so on including all people are related, having the brother-sister relationship.</p>

||
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Therefore, once the parents-children relationship and conjugal relationship are connected, brothers and sisters will automatically come to exist. The relationships within this wide range of humankind may be called brother-sister relationships. They must live a good life in harmony. To live a virtuous life, guidance is necessary. Each person has to be an example for the others. That defines a virtuous living. If you cannot become a model for others, you are not leading a true life. This turns your life into a debt. If you serve as a good model, if your life can serve as an example before the mother and the father, the husband and wife, and children, then you are living a virtuous life.</p>

||
<p style="font-weight: 400;">So, what will result from living such a life? The day will come when the king of Heaven and the king of the Earth will visit the family with the exemplary life. Early in January of each year the kings must visit. The time will come when the nation will recognize the family within its borders living the best life. The family receiving the recognition has three generations that form a perfected four-position foundation.</p>

||
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The time will come when the president will present the award in family’s home. There are three relationships, those of parent and child, husband and wife, and among the children. Brother-sister relationship is a consequence of the harmony of all these relationships. Therefore, whether in a brother-sister relationship or children’s relationship, in order to become a person standing in the position of subject, you influence others positively, such that not even one person can live without me. If it is true say “Amen” and if it’s not true say “No-men”. (Amen). Raise your hands and say it again. (Amen). A-men! A-men! Cheer to the enthronement of Heavenly Father! 1,000 years… 10,000 years!</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">No matter what you may come across, even if you are confronted with death, even if you are accused as a traitor and executed, if you keep these things absolutely, then your family will belong to the heavenly royal family that possesses unabated freedom, unity and liberation. I want you to remember this clearly. Keep is as a motto. In the motto of the third millennium, I mentioned pure lineage, then the equality of human rights, and next the preservation of national public assets. That means do not be thieves. What is next? Be an example! Be an exemplary parent, exemplary spouse, exemplary children and exemplary siblings. If your cousins, nephews, relatives are doing well, then your children will follow their example. If you form such a family, people in your village will say, “We should follow that person. I want to live with him.” Then that person is surely a citizen of Kingdom of Heaven and Heaven will remember him. [Amen!]
